This MGB was bought in 1994 from a neighbor who was tired of paying storage. The color is listed as Blaze Red but I have always called it Blaze Orange. I put it in dry storage for the next five years, getting it out to drive a little in the summers but not much since the clutch was slipping especially in high gear. The next three years was spent tearing down and rebuilding this car. All rust was removed and replaced with parts from Moss Motors. The motor was rebuilt. It was bored 0.030 and new pistons and one bent rod was replaced. The head was rebuilt for no-lead by University Motors. The crankshaft was ground and new oversize bearings installed. A new cam shaft was installed. The vacuum advance on the distributor was repaced with a new one. The motor was detoxed and runs perfectly. Flywheel was resurfaced and a new clutch was installed. The brake lines were replaced and the rotors are new. All bushings in front suspension and rear springs and bushings are new. The gas tank was removed and the outside was cleaned and painted. About the only thing which was not touched was the transmission and the rear end. The speedometer does not work and never has because the gear in the transmission is not there. The radio is erratic and is useless but I installed a retractable antenna while fenders were off (its in the volume controls and besides you would want a CD player now). Also has a new water pump and K&N air filters. Wife needs the room in the garage. It has never been driven in the rain or snow as long as I have owned it. It has always been garaged. I will gladly and honestly answer any questions you may have. I have been driving this car since it was rebuilt. In all I have driven this vehicle approximately five thousand (5000) miles since I have owned it. It comes with no implied warranty. You are free to come and inspect.
