I bought this car last fall from a gentleman who has owned it since 1985. He was the second owner. I met him through a friend and thought it would be a fun car for my son and I to work on and for him to drive. It is in good condition but had not been on the road for about 5 years. I had it tuned up, put a new exhaust on it and a battery and she started right up. But now my 17 year old son wants Jetta instead of this classic. I don't know alot about these but from what I can gather they were pretty much bullet proof back in its day. It needs a good cleaning inside and out along with some odds and ends. It seems pretty much solid with a signs of a little rust here and there but does not seem all that bad. I will answer questions as well as I can and be as honest as I can but keep in mind it is a 45 year old car and is not a show car. I don't have alot of experience selling on ebay but will do my best to tell you everything I can about the car.
