They won't let a seller leave negative feedback for a buyer that does not pay, but they will let a buyer leave negative feedback on a seller (see my recent one) when they don't pay? What happened to America? For all the four buyers that purchased this vehicle and then never paid (you know exactly who you are), you do not deserve to celebrate the 4th of July. That is for American's that follow American values. For everyone else........................ Up for sale is an un-restored, unmolested, rare triple black number matching 1979 VW Bug Convertible. It is one of the last of it's kind produced (you can tell by the serial number) The real value of this car is that it does not have 100s of thousands of miles on it so the engine, transmission, steering rack, etc is not all worn out. Only 47,000 original miles. I purchased the car from the owner of Recycled Bus, Inc that has been in business for over 40 years. The owner was going to restore this for himself. I purchased it, but don't have the time to do it so I am passing it on. Everything is there. New set of Michelin 165/15 tires. Yes it runs great. Just had a VW mechanic tune it up and he stated it runs strong! This is a restoration project, not a daily driver. It needs to be restored, so don't ask me if it can "make it to Omaha", or "can I drive it to the moon and back". You need to trailer it. Rust in the usual places. This vechile is sold "as is". No inspections after the purchase. If you want to look at it, fly out here and inspect it "prior" to bidding . This model and this year is the top of it's class. I've got the price way below it's value. If you want a nice complete desirable year VW convertible to restore, this is your car. It's practically free, only a couple of grand. Do let it get away.
