Well, here we are. It is with great sadness that I take a deep breath and post my beloved S2000 up for sale. I uncovered the car from her winter slumber just a few moments ago to take these pics and go for a little spin. I realized it’s already July and this is the first time I’ve driven the car since October. I just don’t drive her enough since I developed a passion for motorcycles, so I made the very hard decision to sell her. I scoured the internet for over a year to find the perfect S2000. At the time, I found it almost impossible to locate a mint, unmolested example of this superb car. I finally found her, a great southern S2000 that has never seen a cold , salty winter in it’s life! This car is in as near perfect condition as you will ever find. I am a 47 year old adult and treated this car like a quarter million dollar exotic. I only washed her with filtered water, never let people in with dirty shoes, she has never seen temps below 50 degrees, no salt or snow (southern car) , no modifications, dead stock and just excellent condition. Hell, look at that engine bay. I would even get underneath the car and clean the frame every time I washed the car! Yes, I know - I have issues. She has been maintained by me exclusively to perfection. Stored over the winter under the (included) OEM car cover in my heated garage and battery tender. THE BEST PART - ONLY 18K MILES!!!!!!!! I hope whoever buys this car takes as good care of her as I did. These S2000’s are really amazing cars. I have owned several sports cars throughout the years and this one was the best. The build quality is superb. No rattles or leaks. Amazing high revving engine with beautiful sports car sound. And, of course, Honda reliability. I owned a Lotus Exige before I purchased this car. I’m being very honest when I say this; The S2000 will get you 90% of the performance and feel of the very expensive Lotus without the fragility, rattles and maintenance costs. Honda really did a wonderful job on this car and I am sure, as time passes, the S2000 will go down in history as one of the greatest sports cars ever built.
