Hello and Thanks For Your Interest. Up for sale is my 1973 AMC Hornet 2 Door Sedan with factory 258 Inline 6 Engine and factory 904 Automatic Transmission - it would make a great SC 360 or SC 401 Clone. Very SOLID RUST FREE Nevada car (if any rust at all it is only very light surface rust). I am the third owner - second owner only had it a year - when I got it the car came with a stack of paperwork with receipts from the original owner so I believe the mileage to be correct - it was originally owned by an elderly woman and not driven before the second owner very much for several years. I have owned the car for about four years and since purchasing it I have had it repainted (was white top over blue body - now all the same factory blue), the seats recovered (replaced the factory front bench seat with factory 1973 Hornet individual front bucket seats), had the condenser, receiver/drier, and thermal expansion valve replaced and the A/C system recharged with R-12 (the car has good COLD A/C), the exhaust replaced, had a SC reproduction hood scoop installed for looks, and replaced the factory steel wheels with AMC factory Mags. This car runs and drives great and I would drive it anywhere - fly in and drive it home!!! Got it for my wife but she prefers my 1973 Hornet Hatchback so letting this one go and making room for my other AMC restored vehicles and projects in the garage. Door tag reads: BODY 137838 MODEL 7306-7 TRIM 333A PAINT E2 - A1 E137828 The sticker above the riveted door tag says the car was made in APR 1973.
