This auction is for a 1953 Cadillac Fleetwood project car. This would be a great car to restore or to use for parts for another restoration. The car is solid and complete--everything is there, including all four wheel covers, keys, both fender skirts, all the chrome, etc. The car was purchased new at Greenlease-Ledterman Cadillac in Tulsa and spent its entire life in Oklahoma, so the body is extremely solid. The only rust is surface rust on the body, and a hole in the trunk wheel well. Otherwise, the floors, fenders, fender skirts, trunk, etc. are solid. The engine runs well. This car has the rare factory a/c unit (which is complete including the compressor, the ducts behind the back seat, and the full unit in the trunk (see photos). The grille is currently off the car, but will be reattached before the buyer picks up the car. The factory color was maroon with a dark gray metallic top.
