What I have here is a really nice 1971 Volkswagon Beatle convertible that I found covered in the back of a garage. Ive inspected the car, and its a really nice clean example of what these cars are supposed to be. The car has 81,372 miles, new convertible top but it dose have one small rip in it due to the fact something had fallen on it (see Pic) the rest of the top is mint!. The tires are new with maybe 200 miles on them, and they are mounted to nice american racing wheels. The paint on the car is really nice with the exception of a few areas that could use a touch up. Its not perfect, but it is very respectable looking and with a good wash and wax will shine nice.This car has always been garaged! The body is straight, no dents. I found no rust on the car, the floors are solid. The interior is black with vinal seats. The driver seat has a couple tears, but Its in very good original conditon and will clean up nice. I say the car will clean up nice because it has been garaged for over six years untouched so its a little dusty. I didnt even wash it to take the pictures. The Motor ran fine when the car was parked, but now the gas is old and it needs a distributor or points. So I have not started the car. But I was told it ran perfect before it sat. I truely belive what I am told from the very respectable owner. I would assume it would need a new battery as well. Cars over 25 years old are not issued titles in the state of Connecticut, so Im not sure there is a old title, but if found It will be included in sale. Otherwise it is not needed at all.
