You are viewing a beautiful, always unmarked, very low-mileage, loaded, southern 2006 Chevrolet Impala 9C3 Unmarked Police Pursuit Vehicle. Recently out of service from the United States Federal Government with only 89,959 actual, documented miles on it...this is a beautiful example of a very rare, hard to find car in a very rare and very desirable color. Aside from being a 9C3 Unmarked Police Package, this car was also ordered with nearly every option available on a Police Package Impala. I will list everything that is included , and hopefully I don't leave anything out. All of the factory manuals are in place in the glove compartment. This car was factory ordered brand-new by the U.S. Federal Government and it served as an FBI Field Investigator's car in sunny South Carolina where it spent it's entire life. This car has never been driven in snow, salt or any other inclimate weather...the undercarriage and engine compartment are beautiful and spotless with absolutely no rust or winter-weather type damage. Here is a bit of information on the all-new for 2006 Chevrolet Impala Police Package; "The Chevrolet Impala was greatly restyled and redesigned for 2006. The sheet metal is much sleeker. The interior (dash panel) was designed for much more front passenger room. The Impala’s engine was bumped up both in size and in technology from a 200-hp 3.8L V-6 to a 240-hp 3.9L V-6. This new 3.9L V-6 produces as much power as the supercharged version of the old 3.8L V-6. To handle the 10% more torque, the 4T65E transaxle was upgraded to 4T65E-HD. The new 3.9L engine also comes with a 150-amp alternator, replacing the 125-amp version on the 3.8L engine." In my years of buying and selling police vehicles, I have had very few cars that come close to the condition of this unit, it was well maintained and needed no repairs. This was a one-driver car, assigned to one federal agent throughout the entire life of the car. For those of you who know, that makes all of the difference in the world when it comes to how the cars are maintained and treated. This is one of the nicest cars I have had the pleasure of offering for sale. It runs, drives and performs as new. It performs and handles flawlessly, with no rattles, shakes or abnormalities. This is a very tight, very fast car. It is finished in Sport Red Metallic with Ebony (dark charcoal) interior including; front driver's, passenger's and side impact airbags (SRS), cloth front power bucket driver's and passenger's seats with fold-down center armrest and flip-open storage compartment with cup holders, cloth rear seats, full factory carpeting and factory AM/FM/CD stereo with aux. (MP3) input port. This car has only 89,959 actual, original miles on it. It has been extremely well-maintained and it shows. It has never been abused, has never been smoked in and looks beautiful. The tires are in very good condition and are all matching Firestone 225-60-16 pursuit radials, mounted on the factory 16" X 6.5" heavy-duty police wheels with full, factory wheel covers. The body is straight, clean and the paint is excellent. Impalas like this one are becoming increasingly harder to find, so here's your opportunity if you've been looking for a really nice one in a VERY rare and desirable color combination. This unit is very nice inside and out and is spotlessly clean under the hood as well...the engine compartment is very nice (please see the pictures) as is the trunk. The rubber trunk mat is not included with the sale of the car, but the factory carpeted trunk liner is in place. Please note that, as with most government vehicles, there is not a spare tire included. They are typically removed and not replaced when these cars are put into service. All iof the jack assembly, etc., however, is in place and included. These are the Impalas that afficianados lust after, and this is an unmolested example. It is very responsive, smooth-shifting and, of course, very fast. This unit is in excellent overall condition, has been very well-maintained and has little of the normal wear and tear you would expect to find on a used police vehicle. This vehicle has absolutely NO holes drlled in the body anywhere. This vehicle, as most used police vehicles do, will have imperfections...this typically includes; holes in the interior panels from equipment being mounted, scratches, chips, nicks, dings (any major damage will be noted in the description such as large dents, etc.)...that being said, this car has no known mechanical defects and it runs and drives as close to new as you will find. Please, keep in mind, we strive to find the nicest used police vehicles possible, but they are still used vehicles. This is a very nice driving, tight car...not a beat-up, abused police car. DON'T PASS THIS ONE UP, 2006 MODELS ARE VERY, VERY HARD TO FIND AND I DOUBT YOU WILL SEE ANOTHER FOR SALE IN THE NEAR FUTURE IN THIS CONDITION, IF AT ALL, AT NO RESERVE. As with all of our auctions, this is a no reserve sale. This 2006 Chevrolet 9C3 Impala will sell to the high bidder at the end of the auction, please complete all inspections BEFORE bidding...if you win the auction, you own the vehicle. Because of increasing expenses in every regard, we have been forced to raise our fees by $50, this is the first time in ten years that we have done this, so hopefully you will understand. There will be a $175 documentation fee and a $15 title fee added to each sale, these will be the ONLY additional fees you will be responsible for, unless you reside in the state of Ohio, in which case you will need to pay the proper amount of sales tax, based on the current rate for the county in which you reside. Temporary 30-day plate and registration is also available for $18.50. We do not charge any additional fees and there are no hidden charges. Most sellers are charging double this amount currently.
