Vehicle Detail
I'm Selling my 1973 Maverick Grabber. I am in the middle of re-modeling my house and it got a little out of control but you only do it once so do it right. I had plans to put a Cleveland with a tunnel ram and a pro shifted top loader like they used to do in the early days but I got to let her go. Lets start with the body. The paint is an older cheap paint job but the car is desert clean. The right rear has a small rust thru spot caused by dirt filling up in it and sitting outside for years. The rest of it is extremely clean. That one spot is the only rust I have been able to see and I've been all over this car. The trim on this car is out of this world, See the pics. No pitting shinny chrome and I have had several Mavericks and have never had one this clean. See the pic of the rear quarter window. That piece of trim always is pitted bad, even here in the West. Thats just one example of how solid this car is. One other issue is the previous owner has notched the strut towers for some unknown reason. It didn't bother me when I bought it because I was going to notch them for the Cleveland anyway. Besides those 2 easily fixed spots the body is in more than above average condition. As for the interior, It is an original bucket seat car and in the auction is included a black back seat and a black bench front seat. Also 2 bucket seat cores are included if you so choose to put it back to original. I cant say that I have everything to put the interior back together but I can comfortably say 90% of it is there. The car comes with the original 3 speed tranny with shifter and an early C4 with the dip stick that comes out of the pan. I also have a 1969 302 freshly machined block, crank and D00E 4 barrel windsor heads(matced pair). Two sets of new flat top pistons so you choose compression. The parts list is immense so I'm going to try to hit on the important stuff. Small front buper with lights and filler panel, 2 extra doors, 3 fan shrouds, 2 carbs, extra back glass and quarter glass, all the z bar parts for hooking up the clutch pedal. If this car wasn't so solid I'd part it out and make a fortune. I just saw a grabber spoiler go for $400. There is thousands in parts here that I have collected over the years. I can try my best to fit everything in the car if need to be for transportation and I will assist in transportation as much as possible. If you have any questions please call or text Jack @702-726-0115. I will not be able to reply to emails efficiently enough to answer questions as quick as I could with a phone call. Thanks for looking and happy bidding.
