Vehicle Detail

This fiberglass Willys is my personal car and took me 4 years to build it. I have driven the car 3900 trouble free miles since completion and you can drive it anywhere, anytime, it is stone reliable. ENGINE: SBC stroker, 383, Eagle forged stroker crank, Eagle H beam rods, fully balanced, 10.1: 1 compression, pump fuel. Crane Roller cam, roller lifters, roller rockers, Dart Pro 1 aluminum heads, Vertex electronic distributor, Edelbrock RPM air gap intake, Demon 750 double pumper carb, Custom 4 tube headers and collectors, ceramic coated, fabricated valve covers, 100 amp alternator, CVR mini starter. Engine was hand built by Lynn Newkirk of Denver Co. I have had over 50 cool cars and this engine runs the best of all of them. DRIVELINE: Tremec TKO 600 transmission, Mcleod clutch, [hydraulic], HD u joints and driveshaft, Currie 9" rear, Detroit locker, 4:30 ratio, Currie 31 spline axles, long racing wheel studs, alloy rear pinion support. Brakes: GM front discs, Ford rear discs, 8" dual diaphram power booster hidden behind dashboard, Master Power remote master cylinder, Hurst roll control [line loc]. SUSPENSION: Front straight tubular axle with adjustable 4 bar set up. QA1, 12 way adjustable shocks, bars are chrome plated, axle and related components are powder coated silver. Steering is via Vega box through an Iditit tilt column. Rear suspension is Chris Alston ladder bars with Vari Shock adjustable coilovers. The front wheels are polished 15x4" with 145r x15 tires, the rear wheels are American racing 15x10" with Hurst 2 groove slicks, 10.50x15. The car rides choppy for 2-3 miles and when things warm up it smooths right out. COOLING and FUEL: The car has an oversize [31"] aluminum radiator with two stage electric fans, one thermal switch controlled, one toggle switch controlled. This car never overheats, always runs cool. The fuel tank is 16 gallon aluminum with a Mallory electric pump, Fram racing filter running to a Holley pressure regulator through stainless steel braided line to the Demon carb. BODY and PAINT: The body is fiberglass with steel reinforcement. The manufacturer is ISM. The interior is custom finished with embroidered Willys logo door panels featuring solid polished stainless steel trim and polished alloy scuff plates. The seats are leather and powered. The dash features an engine turned gauge panel with Autometer Pro Comp gauges and a Monster tach with shift light and tell tale. All the interior exposed dash, doors and trim are painted House of Kolor Kandy Red. The exterior is painted with PPG, DP 90 with red pin striping between the colors and flames. SPECIAL FEATURES: My car is really detailed, as you can see I am into details and at 64 years of age I could finally afford to do this car right. With this car you can cruise, drive it on the highway...with the overdrive trans, 80 mph = 2400 rpm. The engine and drivetrain will hold up. I went to the 1/8 mile drags with my car club and the car went 7.97 at 87 mph. This car drives nice, looks nice, stops like you want them to and is totally reliable. I built a car to use not just look good. GENERAL: This car is really nice, not perfect. There is nothing wrong with the car, but there is normal wear and tear from a street driven car. The car passes NHRA safety 24 and is ready to go where ever you wish to go. Study the pictures carefully, there are a ton of details I did not list. I have a prepared cd with 50 detailed pics of the car and can also send along a photobucket link of more. I have priced the car to sell with a low reserve, less than the total cost of the parts to build it. Check my feedback, bid with confidence. This is the real deal, the car is for sale. Any questions ask them now. I might consider a trade for something interesting.
