1988 Jeep Cherokee Pioneer 4x4 Sport Utility with only 93k miles. I am the Second owner and bought it from a good friend who bought it new in 1988. Power windows, power locks, power sliding moon roof, auto transmission with overdrive and a switch for power/comfort, tilt wheel, intermittent wipers, privacy glass, luggage rack, good battery, new windshield, and is all stock with 930xx miles. 4.0L I6 FI. This is mechanically sound and drives perfect on the highway as well as dirt roads and has a lot of power. I bought this in 2003 and I have used it for going into the Prescott National Forest on the service roads to hunt, drive in the snow the couple days a year that we get snowed in here in Northern Arizona. What is wrong is minor and is follows: I pulled out the headliner, and the back hatch has recently not been staying up. The good is that all the seats are complete with no rips or tears and in great condition. The engine, transmission, 4x4, suspension, brakes, steering, transmission, cooling, are in excellent condition. The moon roof works and goes completely out of sight or pops up. I also have the CarFax for this Jeep with a clean AZ title ready to go and this vehicle is a true Arizona vehicle. No Rust and No signs of Rust as this Jeep has never been out of Arizona. This is a pick up only and I live in Wilhoit, Arizona. Deposit of 500.00 to be made at end of auction if you need some time to get here and the rest to be paid in person with cash, or if you can get here right away you can skip the deposit and pay cash. The Jeep will need to be picked up within seven days of auction ending. This is a solid Jeep with low miles for this great engine. I have looked at many of these Jeeps for sale across the country and this one has less miles than most others for sale except for some much newer ones. Look at every Jeep Cherokee on eBay and sort them by mileage and you will see what I mean. Out of 63 Cherokees this Jeep is 15th when sorted by mileage: lowest first, and all except for one is anywhere near as old and the mileage on that Jeep is after the engine on that Jeep was rebuilt. And one Jeep has zero for the mileage thus this Jeep would be 13th out of 63 for lowest mileage and for $2650.00.I checked this 7/2/11 at 8:42 AM MST I have had some low ball offers that have been automatically declined and I will not take much less than what the price is listed as so please take that into consideration. If you buy this Jeep you can drive it anywhere you need to take it to. It is 100% ready to go across country, but I would change the oil if you had to drive that far.
