Vehicle Detail

Up for bid is a low mileage 1969 W300 Dodge Power Wagon. It has about 38,000 miles on it. I purchased this truck about 10 years ago from a North Carolina Fire Department where this truck was used as a brush truck. At the time it had a utility type fire body with water tanks on it. I remove it and replaced it with a Mason Dump Body. Since that time I have only used the truck each year for about 6 weeks using it to pick up and remove leaves from my customers homes. I added a plow frame and pump/controls to it but never plowed with this truck. The plow mount in the front was used to attach a large leaf vacuum to the front of the truck. The dump body runs off the transmission's PTO. In the 10 years I have owned the truck I have put on only about 4,000 miles on it. It has a 318 2bbl motor which has given me no problems as well as the transmission and rear/front axles. It does have a few minor issues. One wiper arm is loose, the blower motor is not working, instrument lights don't work, Drivers window will slide off track if you aren't careful when rolling it down, It has a rip in the seat, most of the roof lights have missing lenses, the two spot lights have been disconnected, Dump body has a wood floor because the original is rusty, The hood is dented and the body has some rust that you can see in the photos. On a positive note the cab floor and body mounts are very good and all the glass is good. This truck is a work horse and can handle the weight of a full load of about 10 cu yds of leaves. It runs and drives and stops well. No noises, leaks or burning oil. The buyer is responsible for making arrangements to come pick up the vehicle within a reasonable time after the auction's end. It is possible I can deliver within 150 miles of New York City for a reasonable fee. I am planning on attending the All Chrysler Nations in Carlisle Pa on July 8-10 so if the buyer would want to meet me there with the truck that is a possibility. In any case I would like to have a $500 paypal deposit within 48 hours of the auction's ending. Balance to be paid in cash at time of delivery. I can be flexible on some of the terms. Please email me with any questions. Good Luck and Thanks for Looking
