Vehicle Detail
Ok, I'm adding some things to the original ad here. I opened the sliding door. The reason the door handle was broken was someone obviously tried to open the door without unlocking the inner latch before turning the handle. So now that it's open I can see it will need a new handle. the rest of the mechanism seems to work correctly. Also, behind the seats, the batteries are missing. Actually only one is, but I'm going to take the other out. On the interior there is a hatch door to the engine, shows you how little I know about this. It does have an engine. Ha. I don't know this motor well put I can push it in gear and it feels like the motor turns over as opposed to being frozen. Yes the hubcaps are ugly but they are just hubcaps. ==========================================================================================================================================================If you have a questions please email me. If you want to view the car, please do. Here is the deal folks. I love these vans, never had one as a kid, and decided to buy this to get my fix. I'm learning, that by looking at what others put into these, this is something for someone who really wants one, and the truth is I just wanted to say I owned one. And now I'm selling it. This is a CA car from what I know. The drapes seem to be in very good condition. It was used until 2006 from what I know. I have no idea if it runs? The rear door latch does not open, at least not for me. I could take the interior panel off and fix it but I don't have the time or inclination. The sliding side door had the handle busted off. Don't know why but it's laying on the interior of the van so it comes with it. HA I looked underneath looks good to me. The kitchen stuff looks in very good shape especially from 1984. The body has numerous ouch dings, most of which I could easy have my body shop neighbor straiten out and bondo. But I figured a real enthueist would like to see the raw format of this car. The drivers side seat is ripped. Regarding the engine. Battery can not be accessed to crank over motor or to get running because rear door won't open. I have a passion for cars so once I dive into it, I'll be in trouble. I would consider this a garage find kind of. The clutch engages and it goes into gear I know this. I have all the keys for it it seems there are a few. The pop up tent pops up like it should, it does have some very very light mold on it easy to kill with bleach. There is a $50 document fee to whomever buys this.
