Vehicle Detail
Time to sell of my vehicles, I currently have 6... This is the first classic car I ever purchased and its done me well, but its time to move on. I purchased it for $10k 3 years ago and put another $10k into it. I'm simply bored of it. I will consider trades for jeeps, unique vehicles, old broncos and old pickups, message me for information. Its a beast of a bird. I've completely redone the whole underside - suspension, complete transmission rebuild, brakes, bearings, seals, gas lines, break line, gas tank, etc. I went through the engine and swapped out the chain, ignition, master cylinder, fuel pump, radiator and water pump. Original valve covers were installed and everything rattle canned ford blue. We repainted the hood and trunk as well as a door. The matching turned out EXTREMELY well. Paint is included. The interior has been restored by the previous owners. Top works and is a whole lot of fun to watch. Original turn signal electronics are also functional. It has the original 390. She burns a little oil, but as its a number matching vehicle, I plan on keeping that factory engine in there! I did replace the gearing to 3:55. Original gears are included. I even have new floor mats in there! Things it needs: -Starting to show a little rust and the drivers side floor board busted through over the winter. Its pretty common for these old Fords. New pans are $100. There are also a couple bumps and bruises from parking lots. I'm selling as is in hopes that someone out there wants to take it on and save some cash, otherwise I'll hold onto it another year and fix her up (shown in photos) and sell for a higher price. -The windows are finicky bastards. They love to jam in the closed position. I've replaced all of the motors but they will take some tinkering, as the stock wiring can't support the torque needed to move these beasts of windows, and i usually assist the up and down. I'd replace the passenger side actuator arm as well (on ebay all the time). Previous owner welded the thing and you have to assist the window up and down. I can always unjam the windows by loosening the assembly but i get sick of taking the panels off. Some tinkering will get you where you need to be -The lower door carpets should get replaced. They are included. -After market radio does not work. Original is included -Top is dirty. New tops cost $200 or clean this one.
