Here for auction is a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 SLT 4x4 crew cab with a 8 foot box and a Cummins diesel. First thing you will notice it dosn't look like a 2005, I bought this truck with minor accident damage to the front end and replaced it with a sport 06-08 front end, aluminum chromed wheels and emblems (4500 emblems). The truck had no frame damage (even listed in history report as none), the airbags and seatbelts did not deploy, the damage consisted of the front bumper, left fender, left headlight, radiator, grille, and hood. The condenser has a small dent in the bottom left, it holds perfectly and blows ice cold A/C. The complete front end was repainted and blended into the front doors for proper color match, the graphic on the hood was painted at that time and was cleared over. I have included pictures of the truck prior to it being repaired, these a directly from the insurance auto auction, there was no pre-pulling done to lessen the look of the damage. I have been in the business of rebuilding wrecked vehicles for 17 years. I bought and built this truck for my personal use to pull my 24 foot boat, but have since sold the boat. I no longer have a reason for such a powerful truck and recently replaced it with a rebuilt Tahoe. I have driven it for approximately 2,000 miles with no problems at all. It runs and shifts perfectly, there are no rattles or loose feel and drives straight as an arrow. It is totally stock and unmolested, with the exception of a AFE air intake. It appears this truck has never been smoked in, or beat in anyway. The over all condition of the truck is excellent, there is no body rust anywhere on the truck, including inside door bottoms, no paint damage anywhere. There is a dent in the rear bumper and a very minor dent in the box just in front of the tail light, it is approx 1.5 inch long 3/8 wide, I did my best to picture it. I have been driving the truck with a dealer tag and left the title in salvage, it does have a rebuildable Pa. Certificate of Salvage. In Pennsylvania it is a 1 day process to transfer into a regular Pa. reconstructed title, if bidding from any other state your process may be different, it is up to you to check.
