Vehicle Detail
This auction is for my 2000 Dodge Dakota Sport. This is a beautiful truck and I don't want to sell it but I would rather pay stuff off than have a garage queen right now. It has a very strong 4.7 V8 mated up to a five speed manual transmission. The clutch is in excellent shape, the engine runs perfect and the transmission shifts flawlessly. It also has the factory 3:92 heavy duty posi rear differential. The engine is all stock with the exception of a homemade cold air intake that utilizes a k&n cone filter. I included pictures of the gauge cluster so you could see the oil pressure etc. at idle and at 2000 rpm with the engine up to temperature. The only issue in the drive train department is that one of the welds cracked on one of the tailpipes the other day so I went ahead and removed it so it wouldn't fall off or get damaged. It could be welded back on easily and the truck still sounds awesome! It has the deep throaty tone of a modded mustang gt. This truck will really get after it for being a production vehicle! It has cruise control, air conditioning, tilt wheel and a nice kenwood stereo cd player. All of the options work including the cruise and the air blows nice and cold. The heater works well also. All of the lights work as they should and it has a four way flat plug wired in for pulling a trailer. It has manual windows and locks that work like they did when it was new. It also has a nice sliding rear window that slides smoothly as it should. The interior is very nice with only minor wear on the driver seat bottom foam. The cloth itself is fine, it's just the foam that has broken down a little bit from getting in and out. It could be repaired easily but I just centered myself in the seat and was comfortable so I never worried about it. Other than that, the interior is really nice with no other issues, wear, or odors. The tires are Hankooks that are probably 50% and they are mounted on factory R/T rims. The rims are in good shape with only minor chips here and there and the tires like to follow the grooves in the road surface but not too bad. I wouldn't buy these particular tires again but I'm not in a big hurry to get them off the truck either. The body is very nice! It is straight and clean with a few minor dings and some paint chafing from the bed cover (see pics) but when the cover is on the chafing is invisible. There is no rust and the truck is always garaged. It has nice graphics that I installed last year, there is no cracking or peeling of the graphics at all. I painted the front bumper and added the R/T emblem in the grill for some eye appeal. I wasn't trying to make it a clone, I just like the looks of the bumper being body color and I always liked the R/T logo. If you have questions, just ask. The truck is located in my garage in Peoria, Illinois and will need to be picked up here. I have this for sale locally so I reserve the right to end this auction if it sells before the auction ends. Please be sure to have your funds in order before bidding and if you can't adhere to the rules as far as payment etc. then don't even bid. Seriously. **PLEASE READ: If you have less than 10 positive feedback you must email me before you bid so I can determine that you are a serious buyer**. If you don't, I will cancel your bid and block you from bidding on my auctions. I hate to do that but I have to protect myself from people that think ebay is a game. There is a 250.00 non refundable deposit due within 24 hours of the end of auction and full payment is due within 5 days, NO EXCEPTIONS. If you don't have the money then don't bid. Thank you and Good Luck!
