I bought this Jeep to use as a trail rig only. I bought it from a friend of mine who bought it off Craigslist. I had no intention on spending this much time and money on this Jeep. I have replaced both front fenders, hood, windshield, and fender flares with new ones. I custom built the front and back bumpers and the nerf bars. It has a 8,000 lb. Mile Marker winch that I installed new and have never used. I installed a 3" body lift and a 4" Rough Country suspension lift. It has 34" X 10.50 Super Swamper tires with Cragar black rims. Tires and rims have about 300 miles on them. This Jeep has no rust on it. From the doors back was dented up pretty bad so I skinned over them with 1/4" double sided aluminum sheeting. It turned out really well. It does not have a tail gate now; it is square across the back end. I painted the Jeep with stencils and two coats of clear. The camo pattern is sharp and clear, alot more so than pics show. It is a real eye catcher, lots of compliments. I am not saying this is a show room Jeep, by no means. It's just a good looking knock around play toy. I just did not want to get out and tear it up after it turned out as good as it did. The Jeep is a four cylinder, 5 speed. The engine runs well but, the transmission is starting to act up in fourth gear. (synchronizers?) It has no rear view side mirrors. The turn signals are not hooked up. There is no carpet on the floor. The windshield wiper motor works but a connecting rod has fallen off inside the windshield frame. It does have power steering and power brakes. It has a cheap cd player and overhead speaker bar. The bikini top in the pics is the only top I have for it. The body and running gear is a 1995 YJ Wrangler. The frame is from a 1979 CJ, therefore it is titled as a 1979 CJ. I am not trying to make it sound like a piece of junk because it is not, I am just trying to state all known flaws. I would not purchase this Jeep with intentions of making it a daily driver unless you changed the gearing or installed smaller tires. If you have any questions feel free to ask before bidding.
