I'm selling my Pinto because I have too many cars. It's reliable, economical, fast and a blast to drive! The engine was rebuilt about 12,000 miles ago with .040 over Keith Black pistons and a Ford Motorsport cam and has run Mobil 1 since. The 2.3 is backed up with a T-5 5-speed from an XR4TI feeding power to a custom 8 inch rear with 3.80 Richmond gears and Auburn posi turning custom 5-lug axles. With a big front sway bar, KYB shocks, and short coils in front and mini-stock leaf springs and KYB's in back, it is an excellent auto-crosser, too. New belts and hoses, brakes, E-3 spark plugs and plug wires/distributor cap/rotor, heater control valve, front upper control arms with hi-po ball joints and polyurethane bushings. Fans, lites, heat work, and it's NOT rusty! It's an original factory air car (the expansion valve and A/C ducting and controls are there) and has never been in an accident. This car gets all kinds of attention at the car shows, at the autocross track, and at the gas pump (25+ mpg). Buy a hot rod you can actually afford to own! I forgot to mention it has power disc brakes with a new master cylinder, and powder coating on the 15" wheels, the rear end housing, and some brackets and pulleys under the hood. And it only has 71,000 original miles!
