Vehicle Detail
Hello. You are bidding on a 1938 Chevy Deluxe 2 Door in runnning condition. It has had an older restoration and is ready to re-restore or make into a street rod. I purchased it from a guy in Vicksburg, MS that purchased it from the original owner. I installed a new metal gas tank, and primed a few areas of exposed metal (see pics). It has aftermaket rims with new tires, original bucket seats, and a three speed floor transmission. The glass is not cracked or broken, but the front and back do show some discoloration (originality!). Extras include the old original rims, new plugs, new points, new master cylinder repair kit, extra instrument panel, and other misc. items. Vehicle has not been continuosly stored inside since the previous restoration and shows some signs of rust around bottom of doors, running boards and floorboard (see pics). Please call me at 601-479-3316 or send me an email with any questions. The mileage stated in this auction is just there to list it and may be more or less. I am a new seller, but please don't let that scare you. I can be reached easily to verify and will be glad to answer any questions. I prefer that you pick this up in person. If you don't like it when you come to get it, then you don't have to go through with the deal. It is hard to purchase a car on the internet, and I don't want you to be disappointed. I will assist in getting it shipped to you if that is what you want, but you must make arrangements for that before placing a bid, or I may not be able to do what you want. You must ask before bidding. I require a 500.00 deposit via paypal within 3 days of auction end and the balance paid within 14 days in cash upon pick up. You need to make arrangements to pick it up withing 14 days of auction end. If you need extra time, then call me, and we can work it out before you bid. The deposit will also be refunded as well if the car was not as advertised when you pick it up. If you have it shipped to you and are unhappy with your purchase, then I will refund the purchase price and deposit only (not shipping) when the car is delivered back to me in the same condition that it was shipped. The car is being sold as-is with no warranty expressed or implied. Again, feel free to call with any questions. On Jun-29-11 at 07:52:50 PDT, seller added the following information: Hello again. Please see my 1936 fully restored Chevy that I have listed! Also, just noted that states that I have clear title, but it has bill of sale only. Don't get too many titles on these oldies, but my 1936 does have a title. Sorry, I'm a little new at this!
