1975 was the last year of the factory soft tops to America. The initial goal of this vehicle was to make a factory soft top because it does come with the extremely rare one piece tailgate. Brand new parts that are included with this project vehicle and are still in their shipping boxes include: new fender flares, new Painless wiring harness, new radiator, new front and rear turn signal assemblies, new jumpseat covers and pads and new bumper (which was mounted). Used parts included with this vehicle are: a spare steering column with key, gauge panel completely refurbished and painted, front seats reupholstered in white vinyl, front doors with no rust and good glass, gas tank with cover, heater fan assembly, and gear shifters. Under the hood is a straight six Chevy engine that appears to have been painted but I know nothing about it's history. Vehicle does not currently run nor have I heard it run. Under the truck is the stock four speed tranny. A soft top and bows have not been purchased, I know Specter Off Road carries the OEM soft top and their number is 818-882-1238. The factory soft top bows are sold by a company called Real Steel Cruiser Parts and their number is 847-224-3408. The body on this vehicle has very little rust, no dents, but there is a little cancer in the driver side rear quarter panel and a little under the tailgate. The floor boards are solid. Although this vehicle appears as a 1975 Landcruiser, and all of the parts are from a 1975 Landcruiser, the pink slip and VIN plates say it is a 1970 vehicle. This vehicle is smog exempt in California. This vehicle is the perfect father son project or restoration truck. Lots of new and used parts and the rare tailgate makes it a desired Landcruiser.
