Up for auction is my 76 280Z. I bought it as a project to put a V8 in. It has a couple rust spots on the driver side fender. The Inline 6 is fuel injected and ran great until a couple little things happened. The TPS went out ( $50 fix ) then the day I was going to fix that a spring failed as I was starting it. I heard it break as the car turned over but I didn't start it so it shouldn't have done any damage. It's the #6 cylinder. It was driving good until then. I am confident that if you fix that spring and tps that it will run fine. Like I said, it has not been started with the spring collapsed and the valve is still attached to the spring so it did not suck a valve. Only turned over. It never smoked at all and was really fun to drive! It has a new fuel pump, filter, tuneup, and wiper blades. No cracks in any glass. Other than the rust spot on the driver fender and a little surface rust on the hood, its very straight. Great car to restore or fix and drive. These cars are getting exceedingly hard to find.
