Check out my other items! ...........YOU ARE BIDDING ON one USED 1997 STANDARD 5 SPEED TRANSMISSION, JEEP CHEROKEE 4X4, state maintained fleet vehicle. It has all records & Owner's Manual in glove box. The Commonwealth of Kentucky is the orginal & only owner, it has received regular state maintenance- I drove the vehicle today & put through gears, & 4 wheel high, low seemed a little stiff yet was viable, the motor runs very sound & transmission & clutch operation work smoothly. Some KNOWN DEFECTS (these may not be compete list, but ones noticed during test drive & photos) 1) gas gauge does not work, it has gas, but fuel indicator shows empty. 2) tear in interior ceiling material directly over driver side head, (see photos), 3) vehicle needs paint job, the top has rough wear from debris or leaves, but whatever it was left the top needing sanding & painting- it is viable, no leaks & you won't notice it as at some point the vehicle has extensive touch spray over the roof & several other places throughout body. 4) Several scratches & scraps where all the Commonwealth of Kentucky Seals & verbage ID signs, especially on each door, see photos. Now for the good stuff: This is little Jeep is a ball to drive, the 5 speed is plenty peppy, with the straight 6, which surprised me. The engine has some new hoses & has been meticuously cleaned. No oil usage to our knowledge. This is 1997 model with only 120,625 miles or less than 8,616 miles annually! The Commonwealth of Kentucky is the only owner & we have original Title when transferred. There is full sized spare in rear that appears to have been used at some point. The interior is surprisinly very clean for the age. It does not appear to have been smoked in, but I could be wrong about that. The Tan interior sets this Black exterior off very stylishly. The A/C is cold & seems to work well; same for heater. I am no good at estimating % of tread left, so please do not ask- see photo, it appears the front will need tires soon, but the rear appear to have rubber remaining for good while. NO weekend pick ups. b) Remote sale items require PAID in FULL receipt or PayPal Receipt as pick up ticket; no payments accepted at remote pickup locations; items must be prepaid.
