VERY CLEAN 1978 CR-125 M. NEW SEAT COVER. FOAM IS IN GREAT CONDITION. ORIGINAL D.I.D. RIMS. NO LEAKS FROM FORKS AND FEEL VERY GOOD. SHOCKS SEEM TO BE GOOD DEPENDING ON YOUR WEIGHT. GREAT FAT SPARK. 6-SPEED TRANSMISSION. COMPRESSION IS VERY GOOD. NEW O.N.E. AIR FILTER. SEE PICS. THIS IS MY BROTHERS BIKE. HE PURCHASED IT 2 YEARS AGO TO PREPARE IT FOR VINTAGE SMALL BORE RACING. HE HAS HEALTH ISSUES THAT PREVENT HIM FROM RACING ANYMORE, SO HE BROUGHT IT OVER TO ME 6 MONTHS AGO TO SELL. IT NEVER MADE IT TO THE RACE TRACK. 6 MONTHS AGO I PUT SOME PRE-MIX IN AND IT STARTED ON THE 5th KICK. THE NEXT FEW DAYS, IT WOULD START ON THE 2nd OR 3rd KICK. I'M SURE THE CARBURATOR NEEDS A CLEANING AND ADJUSTMENT. I WOULD DO IT MYSELF, BUT I AM CURRENTLY HEALING FROM A BROKEN COLLAR BONE AND PINCHED NERVES. WHAT I CAN SEE IS THAT IT IS MISSING A STUD AND NUT FROM THE REAR SPROCKET/HUB. I CHECKED IT WITH A BOLT AND IT IS NOT STRIPPED, IT JUST NEEDS A STUD. THE THREADS SEEM TO BE GOOD. HE REMOVED THE PETCOCK FOR RACING PURPOSES,BUT IT DOES HAVE A FUEL LINE, AND THE PETCOCK CANNOT BE FOUND...GO FIGURE...YOU CAN GET ONE FOR $ 20.00 ON EBAY. THE CLUTCH NEEDS TO BE ADJUSTED, AND HE SAID TO REMOVE THE FRICTION PLATES AND SOAK THEM IN OIL FOR 24 HOURS, SINCE IT HAS BEEN SITTING FOR SO LONG. I WOULD JUST REPLACE THEM. HE ALSO REMOVED THE AIR FILTER BOX, FOR THE O.N.E. 360 DEGREE AIR FILTER,ALSO CANNOT BE FOUND.EVERYTHING ELSE SEEMS TO BE STOCK. THE THROTTLE SNAPS RIGHT BACK. FEELS GREAT. BRAKES ARE STILL GOOD TO GO/STOP. LOL. I REALLY HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO GO THROUGH THIS BIKE, SO I AM DESCRIBING IT TO THE BEST OF MY ABILITY. THERE IS ONE SPOKE MISSING FROM THE FRONT RIM AND THE REAR INNER TUBE HAS SHIFTED , SO I CANNOT CHECK AIR PRESSURE, BUT STILL IS HOLDING AIR.
