For sale is my 1961 Chevy convertible. I have had it for ten years and bought it in Texas. It is really nice, quality, former California car. As you can see from the pictures the red paint is a much brighter flashier shade of red than the stock roman red these cars came in. It still has the original “348” engine and is all stock except for the wheels and “turbo 350” transmission. Power steering, brakes, and top. The paint is in good shape, just as I bought it. Car has no rust or patch panels. Trunk has no rust. It runs great on regular unleaded. Some of the things replaced or redone by me include: · Radiator and heater core re-cored · One piece Bumpers and guards re-chromed · Interior dash, steering wheel , bumper filler, splash pans,and exterior white stripe repainted during my ownership · New aluminized dual exhaust · Rebuilt water pump, fuel pump, and starter · 16’ torq thrust II wheels · CD player in glove compartment and new speakers installed · Rebuilt generator and new voltage regulator · New sun-visors and conv. Top latches, as well as misc. chrome items · New windshield last year. All other glass is in great shape · 6 sets of seat belts installed · I can provide receipts for this work and much more The top is in great shape. There is very little pitting on any of the chrome parts, as I replaced almost all of it. Interior is perfect. I retained the original drum brakes. This car is not a trailer queen, and I drive it regularly and go to shows with it. You cannot drive a block or go to the gas station without getting a “thumbs up” from people with this car.
