You are looking at a wonderful example of a 1972 BMW R75/5 . The bike is mostly original and is all numbers matching. This was the year that saw the introduction of the 15 L (3.3 imp gal; 4.0 US gal) “toaster” tank with chrome side panels, so named because of its resemblance to a kitchen toaster. There is a clear Fl title. It does fire up ,but will need gone through before going down the road since it has been sitting in storage for some time. This will make a wonderful weekend project or perfect canditate for a summer restoration.
