This bright red convertible with hardtop is a fun driver and is in nice condition, both mechanically and visually. Just under 112,000 miles, which is nothing for the 450 SL. It has a 4.5 liter V8 and three speed automatic with power steering, power brakes and power windows. It is not a show car, but until recently was a California car and has no rust. It has been garaged and well maintained. It runs fine, and there are no known mechanical issues. There are no dents or dings, and the seats and carpeting are are good condition. The car was painted professionally by the previous owner, who also replaced the transmission. The car has brand new brakes and four new tires. The a/c does not work, but with the converitible, I've never missed it. The hardtop is included and is in excellent shape and comes on and off easily. A new soft convertible top is included and just needs to be installed. A new car cover is also included. It's never been used, because I've always kept a garage space for this one. The original owner's manual, as well as a repair manual and a booklet on 450SL car care are also included. The previous owner replaced the original radio with a radio/CD player, but the original radio is also included. There are just a few very minor cosmetic issues that I have tried to show in the photographs. Spinners on two of the wire wheels are missing and there is a chip in the dashboard around the ignition. A few small scratches have been touched up. Overall, it's a beautiful car that runs very well and turns heads. Local pickup only. Email me with any questions.
