Very rare 1968 MGC Roadster. This car appears to be an early 1968 Canadian MGC Roadster. It has the steel dash, with english, not metric gauges, a single brake system, not the American dual brakes for 68, the low back leather seats, the square log style intake manifold, not the curved runner American type, and no pollution air pump. This car has a 4 speed transmission with factory electric overdrive. The mileage is not verified and I suspect it has rolled over. The condition is rough and will need a complete restoration. The floors and the sills need replacing. Body work needs to be done in the engine compartment as well. I have purchased the necessary floor pans. I have replacement fenders and doors. I have the original aluminum bonnet that came with the car. The rear compartment and trunk are solid. I purchased the car from a man in Connecticut. The car has been sitting for a long time. I have almost stripped it down completely. I have a rebuilt MGC engine, transmission, and rear end that came out of a MGC GT. In addition, I have many parts including some newer seats This car is very rare and should be restored. The MGC register says only 225 left hand drive export, NON USA Roadsters were made, making this one very rare indeed. I have a bill of sale from the previous owner and an old title from the state of Connecticut. I do not have a recent Florida title. The VIN# is on the vehicle. The car can be retitled. Check with your local DMV. The car is in storage in Ft. Lauderdale and can be inspected upon request. Payment can be made by cash, check or cashier's check.
