1976 Mercedes 300D 1976 Mercedes 300D with 195,000 documented miles. English Red exterior, with Bamboo MB-Tex interior. 1976 was the final year for the classic W115 body style. This W115 was originally bought in California and was moved to Live Oak, Florida in the mid 1990’s by its second owners, where it was garage kept and received little use. I purchased the car from the family in Live oak, Florida two years ago. Car comes with most if not all service records from new. The factory maintenance manual is dealer stamped up to 1986 when it had 70,000 miles. I have all service records after 1986. This car runs and drives great. It has many new parts on it, which I will list below. All power windows go up and down without flaw. Air conditioning system blows COLD air. Heater fan will need to be replaced, or maybe lubricated. While in motion plenty of hot air is blown through selected vents when the heater valves are open. Electric sunroof opens and closes smoothly and does not leak. Cruise Control accelerates but does not hold speed. All vacuum operated accessories function and hold vacuum properly, such as AC pods, all vacuum door & trunk locks, brakes, and shutoff valves. Floor mounted pump windshield washers work great. Odometer, clock, and all gauges work perfectly. Radio shown in pictures will be kept with me, I have a Becker Europa Cassette deck, which will be installed prior to sale. New Blaupunkt speakers WILL go with the car. This car drives straight and true, recent 4-wheel alignment was preformed. The car produces no abnormal sounds during operation. Car handles very well at all speeds, and the new brakes stop the car flawlessly. Engine starts and runs great.. Transmission shifts through gears perfectly. This 300D has no oil leaks, transmission and power steering are leak free as well.This car is rust free. All floors are 100% solid, bottom of doors look new. Sunroof pan is also rust free with no water leaks and nice seals. This car does not have any water leaks inside the car. Car comes with the original set of MB tools, all original MB Manuals, as well as a box full of service history. I will include new rear seat backrest horsehair padding. The original English Red hubcaps, and 14” steel rims will be included with the sale of the car.
