You are bidding on a 1975 Oldmobile Cutlass Supreme Hurst Edition W-30 with Hurst/Hatch T-Top that is being sold as a RESTORATION PROJECT. This is the W-30 Edition which has the 455 cubic inch Olds Rocket V-8, 3 speed automatic transmission, Hurst labeling, Hurst shifter, and Hurst/Hatch T-Tops. This car, to the best of my knowledge is all original except for the Magnaflo exhaust system. There weren't very many of this model made and even fewer with the 455 Rocket engine. This car is in running condition and is driveable as it sits. Some "touch-up" work has been started. It was purchased as a restoration project by the son of a friend of mine. However, like a LOT of people on the Space Coast he now has to put all "hobby" work to the side due to a layoff.Exterior of this vehicle is in good shape all things considered. There is a bit of "surface" rust with a few instances of deeper rust. Body appears to not have been damaged nor repaired. Paint appears to be original. The landau half of the roof has been removed but is available. All trim, to the best of my knowledge, is available although some has been removed (there are a couple of photos of trim that is included). He did get started but as stated, job has priority over hobby. Trunk interior has surface rust but no "rust holes" that I noticed. There is rust on rocker panels but it is repairable. Appears to have original spare. Has the Hurst Olds wheels and the scooped hood. The Hurst/Hatch T-Tops are in bad shape but he does have replacements that are available at a negotiated price. THEY ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THIS AUCTION!Interior of the car is not good. Seats have split at seams, white is no longer white as you can see in the photos. This car does have the Hurst shifter and is labeled as such on the right side of the shift bar. I didn't get a picture of it but if needed I will. It has bucket seats in the front and the drivers side swivels out. Gauges all work, speedo shows 15,445 but it is actually 115,445 (not enough numbers on the old odometers), car does drive good. You will notice that pictures were taken at two different locations. Color scheme is white with gold striping as was the norm for a Hurst Olds. Top is white with the black landau half cover and the Hurst/Hatch T-top. Tires are in decent condition.We were unable to locate the engine numbers to see if they matched up with the VIN but everything indicates that this IS a W-30 Hurst Olds. I make NO GUARANTEES though. The interior color combination on '75 Hurst/Olds was white seats and door panels, and black carpet, dashboard, steering wheel and console and that is what this one has. Gold stripes adorned the sides of the car, as well as the trunk, hood, and mirrors. The car also carried gold 15"x7" Super Stock III Oldsmobile rims.
