Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a restored 1968 Dodge Charger. During the restoration (2004), it was given a new electronic automatic ignition, dual exhaust, brakes, door panels, shocks, fuel pump and paint. Since then a “Perfect Fit Series” air conditioner has been added along with “General Lee” specific items, including a CB with antenna and adaptor, American Racing Vector rims, roll bar (prop only), push bar, and the famous “Dixie” horn. Yeeeeeeee Hawwwww! Vehicle Condition Mileage: Body – 89,000 Engine – 12,000 Engine: 8-Cyl, 318 with 600 Carter, 4-barrel Year: 1968 (with 1969 grill and front quarter panels) The car is currently licensed and insured, however, there are problems that will need to be fixed prior to driving. There is significant rust damage to the left front frame rail and left upper control arm mount. This condition could result in the left front control arm breaking loose causing a loss of steering control making it unsafe to drive. The gauges on the instrument panel need to be replaced. The antenna was broken but a model specific replacement will be included. An appraisal report dated May 31, 2010 is available upon request. Terms of Sale This car is being sold “as is.” Vehicle will not be delivered and must be picked up. Buyer is responsible for all towing and transport expenses. PLEASE ASK ALL QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING!
