This amazing Solstice is one of the 1,152 sequentially VIN numbered 2009 Coupes produced before GM discontinued the Pontiac line. Solstice Coupes were not available before the 2009 model year, and Coupes were never offered in the Saturn Sky. Of the 1,152 sequential Coupes, only 50 were produced in Orange, and only 32 Orange Coupes were sold in the US (the others went to Canada and Mexico). I have and can provide extensive research performed about the Coupes from the GM VIS (Vehicle Information System) documenting the rareness of this car. Power train is the 2.4L ECOTEC motor with 5-speed manual transmission and limited-slip differential. A/C, black cloth interior, 6-CD changer (reads MP3 disks and has aux. audio input), Monsoon Audio (premium amp and speakers with Subwoofer etc.), Onstar (emergency assistance, remote vehicle slow-down capability, built-in cell phone and turn-by-turn navigation), XM Radio, and the optional ($1100) folding convertible-type top are some of the other options. The car has been babied since purchased new in January 2010, and has less than 15,000 easy / adult driven miles, and is still being driven during this auction. I have the original window sticker, several Pontiac brochures/books that I was able to get before the dealer closed down the Pontiac line, and a copy of the dealer's CraigsList ad with the car listed for $41,000+. It has the remainder of the GM 5/50,000 warranty.
