Up for auction is 1963 Ford Thunderbird Convertible. This is a barn find- it's been in good storage for 20+ years. The car has a clear Wisconsin title. Drivetrain is a stock 390 cu. in engine with a four barrel carburetor. It has a 3 speed automatic transmission. The engine does run. We started it up off of a separate gas can- gas in the tank is old. We did not drive it anywhere but the brakes seem to work. It does have power brakes. The exterior body is very good except for the rear quarters behind the wheels. It has also had patch panels put in sometime in the past before it was stored. The unibody frame and torque boxes are good- we had it up on the hoist- see the pictures. The front floor on both the driver and passenger sides has rust holes. Original color of this car is supposed to be Rose Beige and it was repainted red. We don't know if the top mechanism works. The electric motors mechanisms made noise and it seemed complete when we tried it but nothing moved. The trunk opened but it didn't raise. It could just be out of fluid but we didn't tried to diagnose it any further. Interior is the original white leather and worn. Everything is there- center console and trim. The power windows go up and down as they should. It does have the unique tilt away steering column and it works.
