Vehicle Detail
As much as I hate to do these I have to put my toys up for sale as an impending move is in the near future. Original plan was to take the parts from the brown one and build the green one to my full vision but time and priorities have changed so now they must find new homes. Currently I am in no rush to sell, this is to see what offers I get on them. Cash is king but if you have something interesting to offer as trade, send pic and info on what your offering worst I can say is no thanks. 1966 Scout 800, I have been working on this thing for the last year and have had some fun trail riding with it, it has a new battery, alternator, plugs, oil change, air filter, after market wheels (pacer I think) currently has 305 70r16's on it no lift and so far no rub. The body of the truck had an attempt at bodywork by previous owner. It has a 3 spd and is 4 x 4 with a twin stick transfer case, Has the half cab top for it from what I can tell it is some what rare and fully removable, has bench seat that need recovering, two 6 in off road light (don't remember make but have KC covers for them) the glass is good in the doors and the top the windshield has a chip in it but is fixable no need to replace it unless you would like to it is by far no show truck has a coat of rattle can rustoluome green and rustoleum flat black on it was a very ugly gold and primer gray color so its a great ten footer , i cut and welded in new floor pans that are good enough for trail use but might want to go over them if planning on making this a daily driver , for its small size this thing has no trouble getting around. Scout 2: This one I just picked up tail end of last year, and have not had any time to work on the motor has been remove due to it been locked up according to previous owner this one has the full top with the much sought after rear bench seat, the body on this one is fairly straight other than the hood and passenger fender was told it had a tree fEll on it but must have been a small one did not cause much damage. Has the twin stick trans as well in this one with a 3 spd, has spare tire rack, double gun racks on both side of full top, 2 bucket seats that need to be as mentioned above the rear seat this on as well has a removable top.
