1977 CORVETTE, Stingray body style. Classic American Muscle car. Here is a nice example of this stylish car, that still holds it's own. Recent restoration has this beauty looking very nice.. I got this from a gentleman who has had it parked in his garage for the past several years. Car runs and drives beautifully with lots of power and speed. Brakes were recently done and work well. Transmission shifts as it should. Previous owner spent over $5,600 about five years ago restoring a lot of components. I'll have a complete listing of them tomorrow. On Jun-03-11 at 02:26:11 PDT, seller added the following information: BODY: Straight fiberglass body with a 70's style non-metallic green paint. Paint is still shiny but does have some flaws (read below). Original centerline wheels with beauty rings and center caps. Has chrome muffler extension tips and a locking gas cap. Window gears and locks were all oiled and work great. Headlights flip up and down fine. signal lights works, as do the wipers and brake lights. Brakes are fine. Engine area was power washed and detailed. INTERIOR: The carpet is new and was put in last week. Same original color and weave. Door panels and some of the interior were re-dyed. no rips on driver's seat. All glass is good. FLAWS: Paint is shiny but does have some flaws in it, some lacquer cracking, and some oxidized stains which can be wet sanded and buffed out. The door panels have numerous cracks that were filled during restoration, and are a little warped as usual. Dash does have some cracks and the right dash speaker grille is broken. Pas. seat has some small holes , seam separation on the back, and some metal (springs) that are pushing through the leather (see pics.) The seat back panels are mostly ok, except for a small crack in one and some chipping on the bottom of the pas. side. There has been a separate under dash button added for the wiper spray. The rear compartment doors are missing the "leather loop" and some of the trim edges are missing or cracked, but still looks good. The rear defog button is missing, I believe the gas cap is from another year. The air cleaner cover is not original. Also, the side mirrors are from a newer Corvette. The center "I shape headliner panel is discolored along the edge with some minor cracks. The pas. side sun visor is kind of "floppy". some of the weather stripping is cracked. One headlight is out. They are: UNIROYAL TIGER PAW GTS, SIZE 60. Also the Chrome beauty rings are Chrome, not brushed stainless. ** JUST A NOTE ** I personally drive a 77 Corvete (Black) that I have restored, and use it as my daily driver.
