Hello and thanks for your interest... Up for sale is a 1979 AMC Jeep 2 door Cherokee with a 401 engine (yes, 401 is cast into the side of the block - not the original engine for this Jeep) and automatic transmission and I believe a small lift. All tires hold air for loading and unloading but the two on the driver side go flat after a few days - all are weather checked and should be replaced. The Jeep is a rebuilt branded title - the original engine was replaced with a good running 401 about ten years ago and then the Jeep sat - the prior owner was in an accident in another vehicle and ended up in a wheel chair so this project just sat. Should not take much to get it back in daily driver condition - probably needs the normal stuff replaced like belts, hoses, fluids flushed and filled, a fresh battery, filters, etc... Good solid Jeep - I normally see the lower rear quarters all rusted through but do not see that with this one - great start for your restoration / trail rig / rock climber / or parts donor (like the good running 401 engine) you decide.
