It was purchased by the original woman owner at Malcom Konners Chevrolet in Paramus, NJ which is still currently in business. The car sat for 25 years in a barn until she decided to sell it spring of 2010 which is when I purchased it and removed it from the old dry barn. To its credit this Corvette still retains its original paint and interior and all of its original major mechanical components. The car needed obvious mechanical attention which was completed over the course of the past year. I photo documented the entire barn removal/resurrection process in a folder for the future owners which is included in the sale. The Details; This 1973 Corvette Stingray Coupe is in survivor class nice driver quality condition. The body and fiberglass is original and still retains its original factory Mille Miglia Red paint. There is some typical age checking and obvious flaws in the paint which is certainly to be expected it is 38 year old original paint. All the chrome, trim, emblems are in real nice shape thru-out. The factory 15” Rally wheels with factory optional wire style wheel covers are in great shape with new radial tires this Corvette looks hot standing still. The interior is the orig. optional deluxe medium saddle leather which I kept all original except for installing a new correct carpet set. The interior has all the nicest options including deluxe leather pkg, power steering, factory Air Conditioning, power disc brakes, power windows, tilt and telescoping steering wheel, rear defogger, original radio, and much more. Under the hood is #’s matching 350 V-8 engine. The frame is rock solid all i did was gently wash the undercarriage and it looks great as pictured. I have all the original unusable parts i took off the car the original tires/exhaust/misc and all are included if the buyer wants them. The Mechanicals; The heart of this 1973 Corvette Stingray is its legendary #’s matching 350 V-8 with only 70,865 actual miles and runs strong and smooth with no issues. Here is what i have done to restore it since pulling it from the barn; it has all new brakes and brake lines, new fuel tank and fuel lines, new front to back chambered dual exhaust system, new belts, hoses, wires, plugs, points, exhaust manifolds, new e-brake system, all fresh fluids including full transmission servicing, new control modules in the headlights, (they work smoothly) all new radial tires, new front bumper, new battery, new stock carpet set, completely tuned and much more. This Corvette is really fun to drive, it is really tight on the road and will get lots of attention wherever it goes. It runs strong and you can get in and drive it anywhere with confidence.
