Up for bids is my 1976 ford courier pickup. it has a running 1.8 liter 4 cylinder engine with a 5 speed transmission. upgraded the the distributor to an electronic type so you will never have to deal with points and contacts. it is the upgraded model with "fake" wood accents, body trim and hub caps. it has factory air conditioning, it blows but doesnt blow cold. either it needs to be charged or there is a leak somewhere in the system. also has a working heater. has original seats but they are torn and sun rotted. dash is almost perfect with only one small crack about an inch long (literally), the interior is in great shape for a truck its age. the truck has small surface rust on the bed other then that its a rust free vehicle. i just installed a new clutch, and fuel pump. items this truck will need to be road worthy. -the truck has been sitting the last 4 years. now the carb is messed up from sitting so long. the truck runs and drives but will need to be towed, but it runs rough and back fires a bit. i have a known good working carburetor off another courier that will come with the truck when purchased. -ignition timing needs to be set. -dont let the pictures fuel you the paint is far from perfect it was repainted at one time and is peeling in some spots and faded but when buffed it shines nicely. -idler arms need replacing, the bushings are worn and has at least 6 inches of play before the wheels turn. it has the "bus driver effect" -radiator needs replacing, it over heats in the summer, i drove it with the heater on in the summer and it kept the engine from over heating. does not over heat in the winter. -recommend and oil change as its been sitting so long. -i put new tires on before i parked it. dont know how good they are after sitting. -needs a battery -4 wheel drum brakes needs to be cleaned and adjusted. after sitting so long it pulls to the right when braking this truck is not perfect by all means and needs a bit of work to be put back on the road. perfect candidate for a restoration project or v8 swap. its a good start as the interior is in great condition. just need the seats recovered. this truck is being sold as is with no warranty i listed most the things it needs to the best of my knowledge. it runs but needs to be trailered away. 500 dollar non refundable deposit due within 24 hours of the ended auction. seller must pick up within 7 days.
