The bike has been completely rebuilt from the bare block & bare metal frame, every inch sanded > media blasted > hand polish or replaced with new. In early 1967 he was drafted to serve in Vietnam and parked the bike in the family barn, unfortunately on April 30th 1968, Roger was killed in Action. The bike set untouched for 42 yrs with only 2510 miles on it. I purchased the bike from his younger brother with the promise to restore it in memory of Roger. On Memorial Day 2011, the Local Chapter of Rolling Thunder had a dedication ceremony in his memory and gave me a small Plaque with his name/service/kia date, which I mounted onto the top of the rear fender in his memory and ultimate sacrifice! The Builder = ME, I’m an Engineer by trade and I do these projects for the love of the work and satisfaction when something mechanical is brought back to life.. My wife says I have A D D and have to keep busy or at least out of her hair! I do 1 or 2 projects a year and not for the money but, still need to make a buck to buy a New project, Well that’s why I’m selling this one! I already have my next one ready to start. To see some of my other pass projects, which have been show winners and even some featured in magazines = Go Back to Photobucket and look at my other albums then bid with confidents this is a Great BIKE and could be YOUR’S!! NO, I will not tell you the Reserve, but it is Very Fare for the amount of work and new parts that went into restoring it. ANY ???? JUST ASK!!! Or Call me if you want but, not after 9pm Central = Cj 615-330-4671 On Jun-08-11 at 09:19:16 PDT, seller added the following information: I've do have a Clear TN. Title in Hand. Also, All the origianl wiring harness is there and start button on Right control is wired up, just the starter & drive chain/clutch on stator was removed and can be re-installed. Other ?? about the actual Paint color? It is hard to make out the color in the pic's because of shading. The color is Brilliant Red and easier to see in the outside pic's with the White background, they were taken w/stock mirrors on in my driveway. Go to my Photobucket and look there.
