1959 CHEVY STEP SIDE, SHORT BED PICKUP. Up for auction, due to financial reasons and lack of time... My once sharp looking and reliable daily driver. I drove this truck to and from work for many years until one day, an uninsured driver ran a stop sign...the photos show the end result. The truck is still very restorable (as were my intentions). It has a 350 Oldsmobile engine. I had replaced the starter three days before it was hit. The engine was still running after the accident but I was unable to drive it home because the radiator was damaged. It will need a new radiator before it's actually ready to run again. It will need new engine mounts as well. The drive shaft came disconnected at the time of the accident but I do have it and it will go with the truck. There are rust holes in the floor of the cab but that is easily repaired with sheet metal. I had removed the bed floor with intentions of replacing it but money constraints prevented that from happening. All paper work is clear and ready to register. I would like to see the truck go to someone who will be able to finish what I hoped to do. It would be nice to know she will be back on the the road again. I have a low reserve set (feel free to ask). Shipping is the responsibility of the winning bidder. There is no hurry for the winning bidder to remove the truck. It is not in my way and can remain here until it is convenient for the winning bidder to pick it up or have it shipped. I will help load the truck.
