This is one of the coolest and Baddest Chevy II's in the Country. Period! Why? It fits everybody's wants and needs. How? Well, it's a numbers matching engine SS Chevy II that was sought out and found in California and re-done with the whole world watching. It is both original, and, has a touch of Retro Pro touring mixed in. This car was built by the Guys at Air Ride Technologies which invited Super Chevy Magazine alone for the ride. The car was located in California, smog pump and all, and was purchased, and taken straight to the shop. The guys then stripped it down to the hull. Repaired or replaced anything that needed replaced or repaired. The car was painted piece by piece and put back together. Notice in the pictures that Dyna-Mat sound proofing material was installed, alone with everything else NEW. Interior was re-done with new stock pieces, except for a Flaming River Tilt Column, a Flaming River Billet and Polished steering wheel, custom AM-FM CD Player with remote, and correct shifter pattern in the factory console. The engine was rebuilt, and the factory 2 speed transmission was replaced with a Bowler 700R overdrive automatic transmission. The suspension was upgraded to Air Rides Finest. This part of the rebuild was actually done at the Columbus goodguys Show for all to watch. Alone with their finest (Shock Wave) air ride system, CPP upper and lower tubular A-Arms, and a Flaming River Power Rack-N-Pinion were installed. Complete Baer 4-wheel disc Brakes with slotted rotors, and CPP 4-Link rear end parts were then installed. A tublur CPP transmission cross member and a custom oil pan were then installed. A possitive traction unit was installed alone with 3:55 ratio Richmond gears. Complete stainless exhaust, with Flowmaster Mufflers, and a Afco Alum. Radiator were installed to finish off the Awesome Chevy II. Intro Custom wheels kicked in with their finest set of custom 18 and 17 inch wheels with B F Goodrich tires on them. Super Chevy magazine documented the whole build from start to finish. After the finished touches were installed at the Goodguys show in Columbus Ohio, the car hit the famous Goodguys road course where it showed off it's stuff. Everyone was amazed at just how this Chevy II handled the road course, and it was the talk of the entire weekend. After it's completion, the car was offered up for sale by Air Ride Technologies for the price of $49,500.00. It was purchased and driven very little, and that's when I found it in Mississippi. I bought the car from a man named James in Mississippi who had it up for sale. I must say that it is the most enjoyable Chevy II to drive, that I've ever had. It sort of pleases both sides of me. The original side, and the Retro side. This car speaks for itself. One drive and you will be SOLD! If I don't sell it, look for it on the Hot Rod Power Tour that's coming up June 4th thru 10th. I just sold 2 of my Chevy II's on e-bay, and I'm building 2 others, so I think I'm going to let this one go also. Sitting high, middle or slammed, this car looks awesome! What more could you want in a Chevy II? Let's review: 1966 true 118 SS Chevy II, a 700R overdrive transmission, Factory COLD A/C, power rack-n-pinion steering, 4-wheel Baer disc brakes, bucket seats, console, Flaming River Tilt Wheel, CD stereo, Shock Wave Air Ride, Intro wheels, solid California car with smog pump and sway bar still in tack, etc.etc.. This car is one of the most awesome Chevy II's anywhere! Period! Talk about straight and solid! Talk about perfect body lines, and solid pans! Alot of effort was taken to leave most of the factory red primer on the bottom of this car. (See Pictures). That's right, that's just how solid the pans are. Make no mistake about it, this car was sought out, found, and only the best parts was used to build it. Super Chevy, Hot Rod, and Nova Magazines, all gave it awesome reviews. They all liked everything about the car. You can get in this car, and drive it across country and still get 22mpg with the A/C on! Talk about the ultimate Chevy II Nova! Here it is! This car is not cheap, however, I will sell it for less than it has ever been offered for. I might consider a trade on this car. It is a pleasure to drive and show off. Many people have told me that it is the Sharpest and Cleanest Nova that they have ever seen. I have never entered it in a show that it didn't win. 1966 SS Chevy II Nova. This is one of the coolest and Baddest Chevy II's in the Country. Period! Why? It fits everybody's wants and needs. How? Well, it's a numbers matching engine SS Chevy II that was sought out and found in California and re-done with the whole world watching. It is both original, and, has a touch of Retro Pro touring mixed in. This car was built by the Guys at Air Ride Technologies which invited Super Chevy Magazine alone for the ride. The car was located in California, smog pump and all, and was purchased, and taken straight to the shop. The guys then stripped it down to the hull. Repaired or replaced anything that needed replaced or repaired. The car was painted piece by piece and put back together. Notice in the pictures that Dyna-Mat sound proofing material was installed, alone with everything else NEW. Interior was re-done with new stock pieces, except for a Flaming River Tilt Column, a Flaming River Billet and Polished steering wheel, custom AM-FM CD Player with remote, and correct shifter pattern in the factory console. The engine was rebuilt, and the factory 2 speed transmission was replaced with a Bowler 700R overdrive automatic transmission. The suspension was upgraded to Air Rides Finest. This part of the rebuild was actually done at the Columbus goodguys Show for all to watch. Alone with their finest (Shock Wave) air ride system, CPP upper and lower tubular A-Arms, and a Flaming River Power Rack-N-Pinion were installed. Complete Baer 4-wheel disc Brakes with slotted rotors, and CPP 4-Link rear end parts were then installed. A tublur CPP transmission cross member and a custom oil pan were then installed. A possitive traction unit was installed alone with 3:55 ratio Richmond gears. Complete stainless exhaust, with Flowmaster Mufflers, and a Afco Alum. Radiator were installed to finish off the Awesome Chevy II. Intro Custom wheels kicked in with their finest set of custom 18 and 17 inch wheels with B F Goodrich tires on them. Super Chevy magazine documented the whole build from start to finish. After the finished touches were installed at the Goodguys show in Columbus Ohio, the car hit the famous Goodguys road course where it showed off it's stuff. Everyone was amazed at just how this Chevy II handled the road course, and it was the talk of the entire weekend. After it's completion, the car was offered up for sale by Air Ride Technologies for the price of $49,500.00. It was purchased and driven very little, and that's when I found it in Mississippi. I bought the car from a man named James in Mississippi who had it up for sale. I must say that it is the most enjoyable Chevy II to drive, that I've ever had. It sort of pleases both sides of me. The original side, and the Retro side. This car speaks for itself. One drive and you will be SOLD! If I don't sell it, look for it on the Hot Rod Power Tour that's coming up June 4th thru 10th. I just sold 2 of my Chevy II's on e-bay, and I'm building 2 others, so I think I'm going to let this one go also. Sitting high, middle or slammed, this car looks awesome! What more could you want in a Chevy II? Let's review: 1966 true 118 SS Chevy II, a 700R overdrive transmission, Factory COLD A/C, power rack-n-pinion steering, 4-wheel Baer disc brakes, bucket seats, console, Flaming River Tilt Wheel, CD stereo, Shock Wave Air Ride, Intro wheels, solid California car with smog pump and sway bar still in tack, etc.etc.. This car is one of the most awesome Chevy II's anywhere! Period! Talk about straight and solid! Talk about perfect body lines, and solid pans! Alot of effort was taken to leave most of the factory red primer on the bottom of this car. (See Pictures). That's right, that's just how solid the pans are. Make no mistake about it, this car was sought out, found, and only the best parts was used to build it. Super Chevy, Hot Rod, and Nova Magazines, all gave it awesome reviews. They all liked everything about the car. You can get in this car, and drive it across country and still get 22mpg with the A/C on! Talk about the ultimate Chevy II Nova! Here it is!
