I am selling my 1974 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray 350 4-speed. My family home has sold and I unfortunately do not have a garage to keep it in anymore. I purchased this car from a guy in Ohio in 2005. He had purchased it from his friend there, who had bought it for his wife new, in 1974. After a rough divorce it was kept in a barn for 28 years before being sold to the guy I purchased it from. When I bought the vehicle it ran but was not street legal. I kept this car garaged, and kept it as original as possible. All replacement parts are OEM or from an official Corvette parts dealer. I have replaced all wear and tear items on the car and it is fully street legal and ready to drive. The is an original numbers matching L48 350ci with the M-21 Muncie 4-speed manual transmission. It is yellow with a silver interior. Power windows, heating and air-conditioning, that heats and blows cold (I had a garage put in the original coolant). The seat belts have shoulder harnesses. I have the original T-top strap and the battery covers. I have put in new floor mats. The interior is all original. I have polished the entire car’s paint, all glass, and all chrome. ----------------------- I have replaced the rubber brake lines, calipers, pads, fluid, master cylinder, and turned the front two rotors. When the rotors were off the front I took out the bearings and repacked them with grease. I replaced the steering power cylinder. All new shocks and all front and rear rubber bushing replaced. I sanded mud and surface rust from most of the visible undercarriage and painted with a black rust converter/protectant/primer. I had the 5 rims sand blasted and professionally painted. The chrome is all original and does come with a spare. I still have one of the original white stripe tires that this car was sold with, for the new owner. I sanded and painted the valve covers, air cleaner, and electrical wire holders. I replaced the valve cover gaskets, cleaned the carburetor, and replaced the carburetor gasket. I do have the chrome engine heat deflectors not shown on the car because of the rust specks, I wanted to have them re-chromed. (also will come with the car) New air filter, fuel filter, and oil filter. Replaced all hoses and belts. Replaced the engine, transmission oil and rear differential oil. New light bulbs all the way around: brakes, headlights, and turn signals. I replaced the front headlight assemblies including springs, actuators, and relays. I replaced the light knob and cover in the interior. The “brights” footswitch was replaced as well. Replaced the spark plugs and the distributor points. The front and rear bumpers are replaced with new black bumpers not painted because the paint is 1974 paint. I have the luggage rack from the car but it has some light surface rust on it. Will be included. The exhaust pipes and mufflers are new. While I had them off I also removed the headers and replaced the header gaskets. This is the last year that does not require a catalytic converter. The original radiator had a small leak. I decided to replace the radiator and all radiator hoses. This car runs great and is a ton of fun to drive. I have really enjoyed owning the vehicle and am sorry to see it go; however, it is time for a new owner.
