This is my 2006 Jetta that I've had for over a year now, This car has been great for me, its extreemly reliable and the fuel consumption is un-matched. The reason I'm selling it is because I'm going to college, and will not need a car. Mecahnically this thing is like new. 105,000 miles on a VW deisel engine is not even the half life, these things are known for their longevity, and reliabillity. All of the matinence preformed on this car was done by a proofessional mechanic at the dealership where I bought it. The matinence preformed includes: completely servicing the A/C (new pump, lines cleaned, freon re-filled, ect.), all of the periodical oil changes( every 3,000 miles), and last but not least the timing belt was completly re-done @ 100,000 miles, and other misc things as theyve been required by the periodical matinence list. All of these matinence things were done either on, or ahead of the time they were scheduled to be done. Everything power works, and the transmission shifts smoothly. So really, this thing is outstanding mechanically and gets phenomenal milage. If I drive this either to school or work, I average ~31 in the city. And when I take this on the highway it really shines. Depending on the weather conditions, and how you drive, this will get from 43-50 mpg. The highest I got was 50 mpg, and I was extatic. This car will NOT dissapoint you on the road. mechanically 10/10 Cosmetically this car is good. When I bought it it had a few scratches here and there, nothing very noticable. The only flaw noticible on the outside of this vehicle is the lower front bumper, where the paint is chipped off. You can clearly see it in the pictures. There is also a small rough area on the plastic on the center console, the finish got messed up when a gel air freshener I had hanging by the mirror melted and dripped on it. These are the 2 things that keep this from being in near mint condition. It has a grey-green paint job that really shines when you wash it, and doesnt show much dirt if you dont. The black leather interior looks classy, and feels great. None of the speakers are blown, and there are no tears, or rough patches in the leather. cosmetically 8.5/10 If you check the report included by ebay, you will see that this vehicle doesnt have a great score, and there are 2 reasons why: the first thing you will notice if you look at the report is that this vehicle has been in an accident.. it was in a minor fender bender in TX, and the cosmetic flaws on the lower front bumper are a result of that. Honestlly I dont know why they filed a claim with the insurance company on this one, but there it is. I had this entire car inspected by an independant mechanic before I bought it and there is no bend in the frame, and none of the body components have ever been replaced. So thats the extent of the accident.The second item you will see is this car is reported to have possible odometer roll-back. If you look at the report you can clearly see that some idiot at the DMV (imagine that...) reported the miles incorrectly. There are 2 reports on the same day, the one that reads 34,160 is obviously wrong. Again, this is no way effects the preformance, or driveabillity of the car, its just something I wanted to point out to the buyer. Extras: as you can see in the pictures, the wheels currently on the vehicle are not the factory wheels. The wheels currently on the car are 19" O.Z. racing wheels. I purchased them shortly after I bought the car, because I thought they looked great. Theyre a little bit wider than the origionals, and make this car drive smoothly, and turn effortlessly. the stock wheels will also be included in the sale, since I really have no need for them once I dont own this car. Also the car was wired for an extra sound system by the previous owner. Ive never used it, and I didnt even know it was there for a while, none of the wiring is visible except as shown in the picture of the trunk. Other than those 2 things the vehicle is stock. Thats the vehicle as I can best report it.
