Great vehicle fully loaded with options. I am the second owner of this car and have owned it for 9 years. This car is a dream to drive very mechanically sound and dependable. It offers the best of both worlds good gas mileage (23-29 mpg) and a smooth powerful sporty drive. I have replaced and fixed every common bug or issue with this car. I had to change the timing chain and guides for preventative maintenace reasons two years ago, and had a new clutch, head gasket, and valve job done while at the same time also for preventative maintenance reasons. It has brand new tires and wheels. Its hard to believe its a 1992 model. I know its cliche but I would trust it to drive across the country tomorrow if I needed it to. I hate to sell, but need a truck for work, and can't justify an extra car. I am including pictures that will show all the good and not so good aspects of the car.Options include: Black Leather interior, power window, power locks, power mirrors, heated leather seats, trip computer (mpg, miles, avg speed, etc), Speed activated spoiler raises up 3in or so at 45mph then lowers again below 10mph, sunroof flips up to vent but does not slide back. It also has a scirocco single wiper installed.Mechanical: All maintenace records. I change the oil and filter every 5,000 miles. I purchased the car in 2002 with 56,000 miles. I used mobil 1 synthetic oil for many years, but switched over to conventional motor oil about two years ago. I have replaced or fixed all of the common bugs the Corrados often face. I have replaced the following items over the past 9 years: thermostat housing and installed the lower temperature termostat 70 C, cooling fan and motor, heater core, secondary water pump, amplified antenna base, Samco silicon coolant hose kit, door striker arms, Brembo cross drilled rotors front and rear, Neuspeed K&N cone filter and front strut bar. August 2009 at 115,000 miles I had the timing chains and guides replaced, a new clutch, resurfaced flywheel, head gasket, and valve job. The timing chain and guide was the only thing that had to be done, the rest was done for preventative reasons while they were in there. Brand new tires and wheels just installed this spring. Air Conditioning is currently not blowing cold air, I had it recharged four summers ago, and it stopped being cold last spring. Heater works great though. Rear brake calipers were replaced a few years ago as well as e-brake cables. Brakes stop great and don't squeak or squeal any.Interior: Black leather interior is in good condition. there is a pace on drivers seat and on the back of the rear seat where the stitching has come undone. The drivers seat could be repaired, but the stitching in the rear has come undone because the leather had dried out in the sun. This would be harder to stitch back and happened before I purchased the car and tinted the windows. There is a black leather momo shift knob and audi TT pedal covers. All the door speakers were replaced by the first owner- two speakers on dash are pioneer, and the 4 remaining speakers have been replaced with polk audio. The head unit is a Pioneer Premiere CD player with Rear ipod hook up charges (ipod while it plays). Cd player is several years old, but was listed at over $500 when installed.Exterior: The paint shows some wear as it is a 1992. Car has been garaged for about half the time I have owned it. It was not garaged for the 4 years I attended college, but has been since. There are a few door dings, rock chips, and scuffs, but overall good condition for 1992. No rust anywhere on the car. The front bumper's clear coat has begun peeling the past few years, and now a spot of paint in the center has chipped. My dad backed into the corrado a few years ago and dented the passenger side rear corner, dent was no bigger than a baseball. We had it professional fixed, then I backed into my dad the following year same spot. I did patch job myself, see the picture, with plans of having the entire car professionally repainted someday in future.Extra parts included in sale: Black bra and mirror cover kit, original shift knob, original coolant hoses, original windshield wiper assembly. Car is for sale locally as well. I reserve the right to end auction early if it sells locally.Ask question email or call 865 310 0438 keywords: Volkswagen VW jetta golf corrado VR6 rabbit 1.8t 2.0t 3.2 2.8 gti passat audi A4 s4 a6 tt porsche 911 boxster 944 928 germany karmann bmw
