For sale is our 2002 Hyundai Santa with 125000 miles; varies since daily driver. This is a 5 speed vehicle so gets excellent gas mileage even for an SUV; 30 mpg. We recently purchased as a commuter for my husbands job but position is changing and will be getting a company vehicle so we no longer need it. This would make a great first vehicle for your son or daughter, or even an excellent family vehicle since it has lots of life left in it. I will tell you everything we know about it since we purchased used: Exterior: Vehicle has some scratches and dings from the previous owner. Purchased with the windshield cracked from them using an ice scrapper this past winter, does not affect the view as it is across the bottom. Also when we purchased vehicle it has small areas of rust on the rear panels above the wheel wels; could be repaired if you prefer, but again doesn't affect driving ability. Drivers vanity mirror is cracked but never replaced; my husband doesn't tend to look at himself in the mirror while driving! Interior-Seats are cloth and not torn, told us never smoked in but found a couple of very small cigarette burns while cleaning it. Also carpet behind the passenger seat has a stain under the matt; looks as though a child spilled a drink at one time. A/C blows cold but at times does not work, we never had it serviced because my husband just drives with the windows down if necessary. Heat works fine and heats up very quickly. Mechanically: When it sits for a while and you first start it up, makes a noise in what might be a belt, but goes away after a few miles. All the windows, doors,locks, odometer, radio and CD player work. All lights illuminate on the dash. No service engine lights are on. Lots of storage in the rear and the rear seats fold down for maximum storage or hauling if you would like, and of course it has the luggage rack on top for additonal storage as well. Vehicle for sale locally for $3200 or best offer so reserve the right to end the auction if sells locally. Also feel free to call us up to see, drive and/or make an offer! Kbb suggested retail for private party to sell is Fair $3900- Good $4500, i would put it in the middle because of the few cosmetic and mechanical issues we have listed.
