1948 Dodge B2 Panel Truck with the original Flat 6 and 1 barrel carter carb. I believe it has all the original panels despite having a shaved bumper. The truck has all the stainless steel emblems and grill, including pewter Dodge Ram on the hood. Has all rubber for windows, doors, and hood. I have the original driver and passenger windows and mechanics, but are not installed in the doors. Front windshield and back glass are installed. Everything works in the truck, including heater, original speedometer, and horn. The truck has on the floor kick starter, 3-speed on the floor transmission. Has original hardwoods, under carpet, in the back. No true rust to be found anywhere besides surface rust on pipes and chassis parts. Truck has been kept under cover its whole life, obvious by its condition sixty-three years later. The dash has 90% original knobs that, all of which work. The dash was cut for new stereo by previous owner, but looks fixable.All doors + hood shut very tight and smooth. The paint job was done well due to the fact that you cannot find original color and no dents or wavy panels, but the sanding job underneath could have been better. This 48 panel truck runs and drives great on its original chassis and body. It tops out at about 55 mph with the way it is geared. I was told it was either an Ambulance or paty wagon in TN having a siren at one time. What I can see that has been done to the truck is, paint job, 2 mustang seats, carpet, stereo, and rims and tires.Wish list stainless and wood roof rack for VW bus online about $400. Have California custom cover for truck. I have historical stamped title and some extra original little goodies like air breather. This is a 63 yr old vehicle that I have tried to describe the best I can with complete honesty in mind. I love this truck and would rather not sell but I'm back in school and a couple of kids.
