This is a 1998 Jeep Cherokee Limited 4x4 with 174,959 miles on it. This vehicle has been very well maintained and is in very good condition for a vehicle with this many miles on it. The auction includes all owners manuals including original window sticker, needed receipts, and title. The vehicle runs good and still passes emissions test with no problem. It is loaded with many option that are hard to find on cherokees which include: Leather Interior Power Drivers Seat Selec-Trac Full Time 4WD System Power Windows and Locks Remote Keyless Entry Up Country Suspension Group (which includes Skid Plates, Trac-Lock Rear Differential, Heavy Duty Cooling, Auxiliary Trans Cooler, Full Size Spare Tire, Tow Hooks, Heated outside rear view Mirrors, Fog Lamps, Six Speaker Infinity sound system) There are several scratches and chips on the rear bumper but are touched up. There is several small chips on the center front bumper. The vehicle was rust proofed by ziebart when it was new and there is no rust through on the entire body but there is some surface rust at the inside bottom of each door, two very small spots on the exterior (left rear on rocker panel and at the right bottom of the lift gate), and some small spots on the under carriage. It also has a couple of oil leaks; one at the transfer case and one at the oil pan gasket. Both have been leaking for several years and only show a couple of drops every once in a while. There is also a small leak at the radiator side tank seal which has also been leaking for a few years. I add coolant maybe twice a year. The drivers door lower speaker works but has a loose connection and is inop intermittently. There are several new parts that have been replaced reliantly which include: Bilstien Shocks (installed two years ago) Catalytic converter (replaced one year ago) Muffler and tail pipe (replaced with Mopar original one year ago) Front Brakes just done before Listing Goodyear Silent Armor Tires (replaced one year ago and have 10/32 tread left on them) Husky Floor Liners (installed one year ago) Front Axle U-joints and Axle Seals (replaced two years ago and refilled with synthetic fluid) This vehicle has been fitted with tow bar brackets so it could be towed behind a motorhome. It was only towed 4 times before the motorhome was sold. I am including the brakets that are on the car for towing as well as the factory tow hook kit that was removed.
