Hello and thanks for your interest. Up for auction is a 1973 AMC Ambassador with the factory 401 engine and 727 automatic transmission. This car was parked in 1993 (18 years ago) due to the transmission slipping - engine was running fine (I put a wrench on the crank and it rotates - not locked up - I have not tried to start it - dead battery). Will need the driver side rear door window replaced and the seats recovered. The car appears to maybe have been an unmarked police car - several plugged antenna holes in the area above the trunk and several pop-rivets in the dash for radio, mic holder, etc. The car has factory power front disc brakes and electric wipers. A few minor dents and dings and minor light surface rust but fairly straight and very solid!!! Great restoration police replica or parts donor for your high performance restoration.
