If you are looking for the most desirable, lowest mileage, hard to find, top of the line and rare 1997 Ford F-350 XLT Crew Cab 7.3 Liter Diesel Dually out there, here it is... You are viewing a gorgeous, loaded, 1997 Ford F-350 XLT Crew Cab 7.3 Liter Power Stroke Turbo Diesel Dually that is in beautiful shape and loaded with just about every factory option available...including factory trailer towing and camper packages, and Traction Lock limited-slip rear axle. This is a ONE-OWNER, LOW-MILEAGE, beautiful truck that has never been in an accident and has been very well taken care of. It was purchased new, and traded-in at the same local, new Ford dealer. It has spotlessly clean AutoCheck and Carfax reports and there is no rust on the body whatsoever, this is a very clean truck. The actual, low mileage at time of listing is just 63,370. This is a low-mileage and extremely nice example of a hard to find vehicle that is in excellent shape. In my years of buying and selling vehicles, I have had very few trucks that have come close to the condition of this one. This one has been well maintained, is loaded with options and is in beautiful shape. This truck has six brand-new tires with less than 200 miles on them. They are top-of-the-line 235-85-16 B.F. Goodrich Commercial T/A's. It also had a complete front-end alignment done with new shims less than 200 miles ago and a fresh oil change as well. Receipts will be provided for all work done. The exterior finish is the factory Ebony (black) with beautiful Dark Crimson cloth interior that is absolutely beautiful, including leather-wrapped steering wheel (that is in very good condition, unlike most) with built in cruise control function controls, power windows, ice-cold air conditioning, power locks, factory trailer-towing mirrors, factory engine-block heater, cruise control, driver's and passenger's front captain's chair seating with fold-down armrests (with cup holders and storage compartment), rear bench seating with fold-down center armrest and cup holders, full-factory carpeting that is in beautiful shape with no wear whatsoever, factory AM/FM/Cassette Premium Sound stereo system, and full-length, stainless steel running boards, headached rack, visor and stainless-steel front grille guard. This truck has been extremely well-maintained and it shows. It has never been smoked in or otherwise abused. It has only minor scratches, nicks, chips and dings, as you would expect for the age and mileage of the vehicle. A Dually like this is hard to find, especially with this low of mileage...so here's your opportunity if you've been looking for a nice one. This vehicle is also equipped with keyless entry (with remote). I have driven this unit personally and it is very nice inside and out. It is very clean under the hood as well...the engine compartment is very nice and original, with no prior modifications (please see the pictures). The famous 7.3 Liter Power Stroke Turbo Diesel engine, also known as the "T444E", is the best Diesel engine ever produced. This motor will outlast any of the later, and much less desirable, 6.0 Liter or 6.4 Liter Power Stroke engines. These motors are known to last upwards of a half-million miles with only regular, routine maintanence. Trucks equipped with this engine, produced by International for Ford, have become the "Holy Grail" amongst truck enthusiasts...and, they get incredibly good fuel-mileage as well, normally 4 to 5 miles to the gallon better than a comparable gas-powered truck. This is the final year for what many consider the absolute, hands-down, best truck Ford ever produced and this is a stellar example. The air-conditioning is ice-cold. It is very responsive and smooth-shifting...all in all a beautiful riding, luxurious powerhouse of a truck. It is equipped with a factory towing package which includes the heavy-duty hitch receiver and wiring harness, and it also has a trailer brake control module. In addition, it also has a very nice, nearly new Valley "Power Pull" fifth wheel hitch installed in the bed that has barely been used and still looks nearly new. This truck was only used for recreational use and has NEVER been used commercially. The powertrain and mechanical options include the 7.3-liter Power Stroke Turbo Diesel V8 engine, 4-speed overdrive heavy-duty transmission, and brand-new B.F. Goodrich 235-85-16 Commercial T/A radials that are mounted on the factory Alcoa 16" alloy wheels and much, much more. This F-350 is in excellent overall condition, has been very well-maintained and has very little of the normal wear and tear you would expect to find on a used vehicle. It is in excellent condition, but I will list the deficiencies normally found on most used vehicles. The deficiencies will be limited to what you would expect on any vehicle of comparable age and mileage, this includes scratches, chips, nicks and dings...that being said, this truck runs and drives excellent, and looks very nice. Please, keep in mind, we strive to find the nicest used vehicles possible, but they are still used vehicles.
