Bidding is for a 1978 Plymouth Volare' Super Coupe. One of 494 built, this car was purchased new in June of 1980 from Halperts Chrysler Plymouth in Willoughby Ohio (sat on dealer lot for two years) and has been in dry storage since then. Car really only has 545 miles on it and still has new car smell. The Super Coupe package includes a 360-4bbl with 185 horsepower, front and rear spoilers, side window louvers, fender flares, hood and roof painted flat black, Super Coupe decals, GR60-15 Goodyear GT Radial's on 15X8 Ralley wheels and all chrome blacked out. Standard on the Super Coupe was power steering and brakes. Options include dual sport mirrors, center console and AM/FM 8 track radio. Thanks and good luck.On May-26-11 at 20:18:56 PDT, seller added the following information: This car was not sold till 1980 so it sat on the lot and was in and out of the showroom for two years. The dealer did some touch up paint work to this car before delivery. The flat black on the roof and hood was repainted, the top of the trunk and left door was repainted. On May-30-11 at 16:26:42 PDT, seller added the following information: I pulled it out today and checked it out, the trunk was painted from the window to the top edge of the spoiler and also both side pieces of the spoiler were also painted. Also added pictues of the original window sticker. Also my daughter wanted to drive it before it is gone so it now has 546 miles on it (see picture / she took it around the block). For any GM fans I will be listing a 1982 Z28 cross fire injection dark blue just like the 1982 brochure car with just over 100 miles on it in the coming weeks.
