Please don't be put off by the mileage on this Bullitt Mustang. The car has been inspected by a local Ford dealer and the few maintenance issues found have been corrected.This a very beautiful, original Bullitt with only a few rock chips and way below average wear on the interior. Wheels are in great shape with a very small amount of curb rash. Tires are brand new B.F. Goodrich KDWS in original size. Paint is beautiful and shines better than a new car. Engine, transmission and rear end differential have been recently serviced with full synthetic lubricants. As can be seen from the photos, engine compartment is beautifull detailed and looks like a new car (or better). Dealer installed new lower ball joints and did a complete front alignment. Newer brake pads and rotors. Newer Tokico shocks and struts. Exhaust system has been unpraded with Magnaflow high flow catalytic stainless steel converters and stainless X-pipe; stainless Magnaflow "Magnapack" mufflers, all installed by professional exhaust system shop. Exhaust tips are stock and in excellent condition, as is the remainder of the exhaust system. Car has original 6 CD changer and all the other Bullitt features and everything works perfectly. Clutch cable has been upgraded to a Ford Motorsports adjustable cable with aluminum quadrant - much smoother than stock. Shifter has been upgraded to a Steeda Tri-Ax gated shifter for smoother and more positive shifting, but still looks stock. I have the clutch cable parts, original shifter and original catalytic converters and H-pipe and they will go with the car. I have spent a lot of time and money making this car look great and perform like a Bullitt Mustang should. I have been told by other Bullitt owners that the car looks like a 40,000 mile car rather than a 140,000 mile car. In appearance and condition, I believe it would easily compare to a 40K mile car, or possibly even better. I have a certificate from Ford Performance Group certifying that this car is # 5152 of 5582 Mustang Bullitts made in 2001. This car was assembled at the Dearborn Assembly plant on August 13, 2001 and is 1 of 3041 painted in the original (Steve Mc Queen 1968 Bullitt from the movie "Bullitt") color of Dark Highland Green. I have all the original booklets, owners manual and warranty manuals, in the original Ford cover plus the identifying decal showing thye number 5152. This is an excellent example of a 2001 Ford Mustang Bullitt that gets a lot of attention and is very much fun to drive.
